Naik Dango

In West Kalimantan, there is culture from Dayak ethnic named Naik Dango. Dango is rice granary of a building where keep rice crops every year. Naik Dango is based from "Ne Baruankng kulup" story. The story is popular in Dayak tribe in Kalimantan.
Naik Dango ceremony held only one day. but actually, celebration of Naik Dango held in 7 days. Because in Naik Dango also show many traditional cultures like ceremonies, games and handicraft.
In Naik Dango ceremony, there are 4 activities that, Batutuk, Matic, Nyangahtn and eat together. Batutuk is the activity of pounding rice to get the rice for food preparation and offerings. Matic is activity to get his blessing for the implemantion of the clerk Naik Dango from pray.  Nyangahtn is a prayer by indigenous priest to give glory in the next year. After that, the activity is eat together
The function of Naik Dango are celebrating a party for the gift from Jubata (God) and giving thanks to God for the safety, health and abundant harvest of rice, also trying to find a new step yo increase rice crops more than before.
Naik Dango suitable of appreciation because the ceremony is an expression of cultural religious, social, and only found in Kalimantan. From this activity (Naik Dango) is also expected to preserve the art of Dayak culture in Nusantara.
