one day, on a high cliff. there lived an eagle family,where one of them cant flight. The eagle’s son named Oscar. he lived with his three brothers and both parents.

oscar's brothers could fly well,but Oscar couldnt fly well . his brothers avoided Oscar. oscar was very sad and he thought about why his wings couldn't fly. in the morning, Oscar saw his brothers flight. he said to them, "my brothers, may I go fly with you?" , They replied, "You can't fly, you're better off at home alone, hahaha". Oscar asked them to teach flight, but they declined, they even insulted oscar. oscar ran crying into the house.

Day after day passed, Oscar was still expeled by his brothers. Oscar mama was very sad when she saw his son. Mama took the initiative made ​​it a tool for Oscar namely flying bike . And gave it at oscar’s birthdays. Oscar was now can be flight with his brothers, although they was still hated Oscar.

At Sunday, the father of eagle held a game for his kids . Who can flight as fast as possible towards the big tree beside the island will get a gift from his father. They were very enthusiastic, they soon set up a row start. The father blew the whistle, and they flight like the wind that blows. Oscar rode his bike as fast as possible. It's amazed, the game was won by Oscar and his fly bike. The brothers did not accept the Oscar’s victory, they was very hated Oscar and Oscar intend to damaged the bike so that Oscar can not fly again.

The next afternoon, the brothers invited Oscar to play together. Before they played, the oscar’s brothers had loosen the screws  there on the oscar’s bike . But their plan failed, when Oscar flew over them, suddenly the bike released from the feet of Oscar and fall on them. They fell and Oscar lost his balance. Miracle come, Oscar can flapped his wings, he was very surprised and rushed to help his brothers. Finally, they all survived, brothers Oscar thanked and apologized for all their mistakes all this time

now they had be brothers who got along and always helpful if one of them have difficulties. Papa and mama eagle was very excited to saw their children. And the eagle’s family  lived happily together ever after .  THE END

Naik Dango

In West Kalimantan, there is culture from Dayak ethnic named Naik Dango. Dango is rice granary of a building where keep rice crops every year. Naik Dango is based from "Ne Baruankng kulup" story. The story is popular in Dayak tribe in Kalimantan.

Naik Dango ceremony held only one day. but actually, celebration of Naik Dango held in 7 days. Because in Naik Dango also show many traditional cultures like ceremonies, games and handicraft.

In Naik Dango ceremony, there are 4 activities that, Batutuk, Matic, Nyangahtn and eat together. Batutuk is the activity of pounding rice to get the rice for food preparation and offerings. Matic is activity to get his blessing for the implemantion of the clerk Naik Dango from pray.  Nyangahtn is a prayer by indigenous priest to give glory in the next year. After that, the activity is eat together

The function of Naik Dango are celebrating a party for the gift from Jubata (God) and giving thanks to God for the safety, health and abundant harvest of rice, also trying to find a new step yo increase rice crops more than before.

Naik Dango suitable of appreciation because the ceremony is an expression of cultural religious, social, and only found in Kalimantan. From this activity (Naik Dango) is also expected to preserve the art of Dayak culture in Nusantara.
